Neguanje. The luxury of belonging to the landscape.
A low-density Caribbean hospitality vision where nature, architecture and community become one experience.
The initial vision considers approximately eight low-density accommodation units, with terraced architecture, generous timber decks and views toward the Caribbean Sea and the landscape behind. The aesthetic draws from East African luxury safari lodges and reinterprets them through the materials, techniques and climate of the Colombian Caribbean.
- Nature and privacy as the primary definition of luxury.
- Timber architecture, terraces/decks, light-weight roofing and tropical vegetation.
- Pools and outdoor spaces integrated into the experience, subject to final design.
- Visually integrated solar energy and responsible water and waste management.
- Restoration of the former farm for food production through permaculture and regenerative agriculture.
- Working with local knowledge and participation from communities in the area.
- A light gastronomic model connected to locally produced food.
- Low density and discreet operation to reduce visual and environmental impact.
Neguanje is, to date, a vision and concept under legal and environmental feasibility study. It should not be interpreted as an approved, permitted or authorized project. No public prices are offered, and no profitability, return or appreciation is guaranteed.
